Our Story
The Rayzors Foundation was founded in 2023 by Kimberly Steiner and her fiancé, Jeffrey Walker, out of a deeply personal journey rooted in resilience, healing, and hope. Kim has lived with mental health challenges for much of her life. Her most recent setback occurred in the spring of 2022, when she made the courageous decision to voluntarily admit herself to BryLin Hospital — her third inpatient stay. With the support of compassionate professionals and a loving family, Kim began the next chapter of her recovery with determination and purpose. After being discharged from BryLin and returning home, Kim committed herself to ongoing counseling and therapy. With unwavering encouragement from her family, she explored Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy — an approach that helped her confront and process past trauma so she could move forward in a healthier, more sustainable way for herself, her children, and her future.

A Path to Healing
Today, Kim is thriving. Alongside Jeff and their blended family, she continues to prioritize
her mental wellness and credits EMDR therapy as a life-changing step in her healing
journey. Maintaining mental health is an ongoing commitment, and Kim embraces it with
intention and gratitude.
Turning Healing into Purpose
As Kim began to feel healthier, she felt a strong calling to give back. She envisioned a foundation that could both raise awareness about mental health and provide tangible support to the local organizations that help individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments — just as they helped her. Later in 2023, the Rayzors Foundation officially launched. In just a short time, the Foundation has raised more than $35,000 to support mental health resources, including:
BryLin Hospital
Horizon Health Services
